Click a text in your scene. The panel on the right has these options.
Write it by hand. Under Animate, turn on Write it by hand. A hand writes your text, stroke by stroke, in the caption's font. Pick a Writing speed: Normal, Fast or Slow.
Letters in and out. Under Text animation, pick how the letters arrive in Letters in, like Slide in from the left or Bounce down. Pick how they leave in Letters out, like Fade out or Float up and away.
Text effect. Add a Soft shadow, a glow or an echo behind the text in Text effect.
Vertical position. Choose where the text sits in its box: Top, Middle or Bottom. Auto keeps the template's choice.
If it doesn't work: A counter and a letter animation can't both run on one caption. The counter runs, and the letter animation is skipped. Turn one off, or put them on two captions.
