"Scenes need a new render" on my movie
For: all plans
A movie is made from its rendered scenes. Before your movie renders, Explaindio checks each scene and tells you which ones need a new render.
You may see one or more of these notes:
- You edited a scene. For example: "2 scenes changed since they were last rendered: Intro, Offer."
- We improved how videos are made. For example: "We've improved how videos are made. Before this movie renders, 2 scenes (Intro, Offer) need a new render to match the rest of your movie." You didn't change anything. These scenes were made before an update, and a new render makes them match the rest of your movie.
- A scene isn't rendered yet. For example, one you re-voiced, or one whose render didn't work: "1 scene isn't rendered yet: Offer." It uses credits, like any scene render.
- A scene is still rendering. For example: "Intro is still rendering. The movie starts when it's done." There's nothing to pay for that scene. Explaindio just waits for it. If that's the only note, the button says Render the movie when it's ready.
- Click Render them, then the movie. (For one scene, it says Render it, then the movie.)
- Explaindio renders those scenes first, then the movie.
What it costs
Scenes that need a new render because of our update are refreshed free of charge. The note says "free of charge" when that's the case.
Scenes you edited use credits, like any scene render.
Rendering the movie itself uses credits, as usual.
Want the old version of a scene you edited? Undo your changes in that scene, then click Render Movie.
